My Philosophy

An important factor to consider when choosing daycare is the type of learning style and overall philosophy of the facility.

Mission Statement

I believe that family childcare is a very important extension of you and your child's family.  As your child becomes involved in the daily routines they will see the connections between home and family childcare in a friendly and supporting way.  A flexible daily program will respond to the needs and interests of the children, individually, and in a group setting.

By encouraging children to learn and develop at their own level they will gain the confidence of self-importance. Give them guidance and understanding and they will have the opportunity to explore their world in a safe and controlled environment.

The Hand Holders

There is no job more important than yours,
no job anywhere else in the land.
You are the keepers of the future;
you hold the smallest of hands.

Into your care you are trusted
to nurture and care for the young,
and for all of your everyday heroics,
your talents and skills go unsung

Something to think about

"A hundred years from now it will not

matter the sort of house I lived in,

What my bank account was or the

kind of car I drove, but the world may

be different because I was important

in the life of a child."

Throughout the day children work in small groups, in individual settings and with the rest of the class in supervised activities. We feel your child will benefit from both the structured and non-structured learning.
